The RTI Mora Compact V2 Gen 2 takes the power system, external tuning capability and long-projectile compatibility of the Mora platform and packages it into a rifle measuring only 30.9 inches overall.

Available from EDgun West in .22, .25 and .30 caliber, every Mora Compact in this listing uses a 500mm / 20-inch barrel and a 500cc carbon-fiber bottle.

Do not confuse “Compact” with lightweight, low-powered or entry-level. At approximately 9 pounds before adding a scope, the Mora Compact is a substantial precision PCP rifle. Its advantage is not featherweight construction—it is the combination of serious air capacity and an advanced tuning system in the shortest Mora configuration.

It is built for shooters who want a rifle that is easier to transport, easier to manage around a bench or vehicle, and less cumbersome in the field than the Standard or Sniper, without giving up the core engineering that defines the Mora.

REAL EXTERNAL TUNING

Many PCP air rifles advertise adjustability but give the shooter little more than a numbered wheel. The Mora provides meaningful control over the rifle’s regulated pressure and valve behavior.

At the center of the platform is a 125cc power plenum and RTI’s externally adjustable assisted-valve system. The valve uses pressure generated during the shot cycle to help it close more quickly. The goal is to produce the required energy while reducing the amount of air wasted after the projectile has already begun moving through the barrel.

External valve adjustment allows dwell time to be matched more closely to:

• Caliber

• Pellet or slug weight

• Desired velocity

• Regulated pressure

• Accuracy requirements

• Air-efficiency goals

This does not mean the rifle needs to be constantly adjusted. A good tune should be built around the projectile the owner actually intends to use and then left alone unless the ammunition or performance objective changes.

Maximum velocity is not automatically the best tune. The correct tune is the setting at which the chosen pellet or slug is accurate, stable, and consistent without consuming unnecessary air.

The .22-caliber Mora Compact is the efficiency-and-versatility option.

It uses RTI’s proprietary RPB barrel with a light choke and a 1:16-inch twist rate. The magazine holds 19 rounds, giving the .22 the highest magazine capacity among the three EDgun West Compact configurations.

Choose the .22 Mora Compact when you prioritize:

RTI MORA COMPACT .25 CALIBER

The .25-caliber Mora Compact is the all-around choice.

It uses RTI’s proprietary RPB barrel with a light choke and a 1:20-inch twist rate. Magazine capacity is 15 rounds.

The .25 sits between the efficiency of .22 and the heavier-projectile authority of .30. It provides more projectile mass and downrange energy than .22 while remaining more economical with air and ammunition than many .30-caliber setups.

Choose the .25 Mora Compact when you prioritize:

RTI MORA COMPACT .30 CALIBER

The .30-caliber Mora Compact is the heavy-projectile option.

It uses a choked Lothar Walther barrel with a 1:16-inch twist rate. Magazine capacity is 13 rounds.

Choose the .30 Mora Compact when you prioritize:

• More retained energy at distance

• Improved resistance to wind compared with lighter projectiles

The .30 will generally consume more air than an equivalent .22 or .25 tune, and the shorter 20-inch barrel should be considered when selecting projectile weight and desired velocity. It is the Compact for shooters who value projectile mass more than maximum shot count.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

IS THE MORA COMPACT A LIGHTWEIGHT PCP AIR RIFLE?

No. Compact refers to its overall length, not its weight. The rifle weighs approximately 9 pounds before a scope or accessories are installed. It is easier to transport and manage than the longer Mora models, but it remains a substantial precision PCP.

WHICH CALIBER SHOULD I CHOOSE?

Choose .22 for efficiency, ammunition selection and greater magazine capacity.

Choose .25 for the best overall balance of projectile weight, air use and versatility.

Choose .30 when heavier projectiles and downrange authority are more important than maximum shot count.

WILL ALL THREE CALIBERS SHOOT SLUGS?

The Mora platform is designed to accommodate pellets and slugs. The .22 and .25 versions use RTI’s proprietary RPB barrels, while the .30 uses a choked Lothar Walther barrel.

Every barrel will still prefer certain projectile diameters, weights and velocities. Slug compatibility does not mean every available slug will shoot accurately.

HOW MANY SHOTS WILL I GET?

Shot count varies too much by caliber and tune to provide one honest number.

A lower-pressure .22 pellet tune can produce far more shots than a high-output .30 slug tune. Regulated pressure, valve dwell, projectile weight and velocity all influence air consumption.

IS THE MORA COMPACT LESS POWERFUL THAN THE STANDARD?

The Compact uses the Mora’s 125cc plenum and externally adjustable assisted-valve system, but it has a shorter barrel. Barrel length can affect velocity and efficiency.

The correct model should be chosen around overall length, caliber, projectile, and intended use—not an unsupported headline power number.

DOES THE MORA COMPACT INCLUDE A MODERATOR?

Yes. The standard Compact package includes the RTI Hušh 50 carbon moderator. Use is subject to the laws and regulations applicable in your location.

DOES IT INCLUDE A SCOPE?

No. A scope and rings are not included. This allows the owner to select an optic suited to the intended shooting distance and application.

CAN THE MAGAZINE BE USED FROM EITHER SIDE?

Yes. The magazine design can be reversed for right- or left-side loading.

CAN THE MORA COMPACT CHANGE CALIBERS?

Yes, with the proper RTI caliber-conversion components. The rifle must be set up and retuned for the new caliber and projectile.

DO I HAVE TO FILL THE RIFLE TO 300 BAR?

No. Three hundred bar is the maximum published fill pressure. It is not necessary to fill to maximum pressure for every shooting session.

Always use properly rated filling equipment and follow RTI’s operating instructions.
